2025 GnarBarn State V. State Video Contest *
The contest goes like this: Each state assembles a team of at least 5 riders, 1 videographer/social media poster-
Each team will get a full pull weekend of camping, chillin, drinking, bon fire and of course riding. They will be the only team on the site for that weekend with the host for social and riding- Arrive Friday and close on Sunday.
Each team will submit a video edit from each team that is at least 3 minutes long- (Each rider on the team needs at least 1 clip, Bonus for filmer clip)
All video clips in the edit, needs to be from the GnarBarn, from the weekend your team is at the facility.
Video clips for the edit cannot be used in the social media clips! SAVE THE BANGERS!
Weekend full of riding and chillin, Camping (In the camper) bon fire, Hot tub, Drinking, filming,and stories.
Video must not be leaked to the internet and must be completed within 3 weeks after the weekend session.
$6000 Cash purse!

About us
TeamIowa BMX community came together with Chris Pickard and built the Gnarbarn in 2011. We made the most out of the limited space of the 61x44 space. Problem is, When we held jams before we were limited with the room we had and the number of riders that could ride, spectators that could spectate. So for 2025 , we are holding a contest that is State vs. State- No 30 second pressure cookers, now trying to snake in practice runs, just an amazing weekend with homies filming and having a good time. The essence of the road trip, and maybe a Bribe of a $6000 purse, will bring back the roadtrip, PROPS style video capture, and remind us of why we ride BMX. We are in IOWA so we are close to everywhere.
At the GnarBarn there is no judgement, and you don’t even have to be the best to get in on the cash. Its all about having a good time, and creating memories. Lets go 2025, it a good year to ride.
